Tokyopop has announced that it will adapt NHK and Big Tent Entertainment's Domo mascot character into an English-language, full-color world manga this September. The publisher has not yet announced who will write and illustrate the work based on the fuzzy, brown mascot. Tokyopop editor Alexis Kirsch said that Domo creator Tsuneo Goda has given his blessing to the project. In the upcoming book, "Domo wreaks havoc with his friend's video game, trains a fighting beetle, enters a box car race by being the car, and decides to literally become any character he sees on TV including Tarzan, a samurai, and finally, a top chef."
