It seems that no anime these days is complete without a large breasted character. Enter Miyuki. She’s a childhood friend of Dan’s, and happens to be a Bigfoot mechanic. In an attempt to get Dan to change his mind about the robots, she gives him tickets to the upcoming BFB game in town.
This first episode is beautifully animated and action packed. If it’s not a bunch of police Bigfoots being kited around town by Dunk Mask, it's Dan trying to jump to the Moon with or without the help of a robot.

Besides being fun to look at, it’s also hilarious. These days, it's pretty rare to watch a show that will make you laugh out loud. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that if this show fails to make you laugh, then you’re probably a terrible person with a bad sense of humor.
The only downside is the inclusion of too much boob humor. It’s funny in some scenes, but in others it’s the main focus. The most memorable of these moments is when the camera is shamefully zoomed in on Miyuki’s bouncing breasts for 12 seconds. Call it wishful thinking, but it's possible that this is meant to be tongue-in-cheek because its followed by a great scene where Dan schools the BFB players in the art of robot dribbling.

By the end of the episode, Dan’s improved style of robot basketball is embraced by the masses. It’s still unclear as to which direction they’re going to take the story, but it could be enjoyable either way. They could continue with the tale of Dunk Mask and his never-ending journey to get robots off the court, or Dan could start playing the game himself and it could turn into a typical sports show but with a pretty neat twist.
If you‘ve never watched a sports anime before this is a great place to start. The same could be said if you‘ve never been into robot shows either. The mixing of the two genres is an interesting concept and so far its executed brilliantly. This first episode is a lot of fun and it's definitely worth checking out.
