Spring 2005 in Review
by Joe Di Benedetto (Spike Spiegel)
It’s time for another installment of everyone’s favorite little secret, the Cocaine Cowboy Corner. I know that I have not been too punctual with my releases, but things have been pretty hectic. I won’t bore you with the details, because this is an anime column not a column about my uneventful life. Just look on the bright side, the Cocaine Cowboy Corner has taken a quality over quantity existence.

It is that time of the year where schools let out for the summer, and I’m sure you all find yourself asking the same question, “What will I watch over summer vacation?” Jimmy might quickly respond with the various anime series currently airing on Cartoon Network. That’s a good idea, Jimmy, but all the best anime series air late at night during Adult Swim. So what do we do the rest of the day? Well, you are in luck, because the spring season of anime in Japan has had its fair share of quality anime series worth taking a gander at. I know that everyone has their own individual tastes in viewing enjoyment. So I thought that I could supply the spring season in review to help you decide which new anime series will become your new best friend.
