As sinister and unrealistic as the headline “Student Dies in American Death Note” might sound, some adults and members of educational establishments might not stop to think of its absurdity. It is my hope that a Japanese animation could have that profound an impact on our mainstream culture. In reality, this is just the typical response of most states when it comes to teens and their vices. In this case, it's the fictional account of a boy and his Death Note.
