[Winter 2010] Ladies vs. Butlers

Attention: open in a new window. PDFPrintE-mail
Ladies v Butlers Preview Synopsis: Akiharu Hino is your typical high school student. Despite looking like a young hooligan, he enrolls in training at a high-class academy for training future butlers and maids. Spotted by a firey blonde-haired gal named Cerina, he finds his life turned upside down and boobs grabs and you probably know how this song-and-dance goes.
Fernando's Thoughts
Yeah, I can't really bothered to write a full proper description of what happens this episode. I'm no prude. I've been into this hobby since before I entered Junior High and cartoon mammaries have never been a particular bother. However, watching this uninspired mass of cliches leaves little anticipation for what else lies in store.

I guess the girls are attractive enough if that's your thing. As usual for harem shows, there's a girl for every taste: here's the bitch with an attitude! Here's the jailbait who's totally 19 for reals! Oh, and who can forget the childhood friend from the forgotten past? It's all been-there-done-that and not particularly entertaining or creative for that matter. At least last season's Kampfer managed to include some somewhat clever jokes with the ribaldry.

Summary

When writing my impressions about this show on twitter, a particularly snarky follower commented "Ladies vs butlers? Sounds like a pro WWE match." To be honest, I was somewhat hoping for this. At least it would've been something worth remembering.
Instead I'm reminded of the tagline for Alien vs. Predator: Whoever wins, we lose.
