I want to thank Jeff from Colony Drop for giving me some honest feedback about the episode. I apologize for making it seem like I withheld part of the podcast as a ruse so you can buy the app. I assure you that wasn't my intention. I felt it was the best part to cut without it going into the one hour and forty-five minute mark. I'm trying to keep these show within an hour and I can see that it might not be possible with the flow of some of the conversations. Expect more of a variety of times for future episodes and completed conversations from our panel. Thank you for listening and we encourage any kind of feedback, even negative.

As an avid traveler myself (spending one month in Singapore coming up here soon), I've always advised people to just visit and not live in foreign places, especially if those people are from the US where living is generally comfortable and somewhat easier than in foreign countries. Having said that, this was an interesting discussion and I liked hearing it. I would have loved to hear about some of the more difficult aspects, especially about Ichigo getting a visa and buying a car, and generally about how long it took to learn the subway system in Japan. Granted, I still have 10 minutes left in the cast, so you may have covered that, but I'm at work now so I can't finish it yet! :cheer:

We appreciate the feedback. That's how we improve the show. Keep listening to the rest of the season and expect some amazing content.

Cool podcast. My experiences in Japan are very similar to all 3. I went to a language school and worked for Nova for 1-year.

Interesting discussion on Japan. I'm glad the panelists delved into how they got to Japan and the anime/manga aspects of Japan. Manga is relatively cheap, so if you can read Japanese, buy a lot of it!

I hope when it comes down to Japan, my experiences are similar to Fernando's. I was also an Odawara Sister Cities exchange program participant (Fernando and I are from the same city, college, and now the same anime site) and I'm applying to the JET Program.
  • Adrian  - American Anime Fans in Japan more please
Interesting podcast. I was hoping it would touch more on other issues about anime, anime fan trends or interaction with other foreign anime fans living in Japan. I had meet WAH at the Tokyo Figure show, he's an anime fan of the current generation. Interesting fellow. Moving on to the next podcast. I like the format by the way, too bad I don't have or plan on getting an iphone in the near future, Softbank signal sucks in Tokyo.
