Bonus Round - 9/02/10 – Satoshi Kon Remembered.
In continuing with Satoshi Kon coverage, we decided to devote our entire Bonus Round to getting listener, staff and podcaster reactions. This includes a few messages from staff members Zac Lowe and Fernando Ramos. We also have a message from an A3K listener and another from fellow podcaster, Viga the Otagal. Rounding out the podcast we are showcasing a clip from our directors panel where Zac Bertschy, Daryl Surat and Bradley Meek discuss the work of Satoshi Kon. It's interesting to hear what they thought of Satoshi Kon before his passing.

In our exciting new direction into the world of multimedia entertainment, Anime3000.com is proud to present our first 20 Questions segment. In this first installment, we had a conversation with Evan Minto, the editor-in-chief of anigamers.com. In addition to the twenty unrehearsed questions that give this segment its name, we also discuss why anigamers.com is such a happening place to visit. We decided to pick Evan because of his continued support of our website through his many A3K Panel appearances. If you are an Anime 3000 affiliate that would like to appear on a future segment of 20 Questions, send us an email. We are looking to produce new segments and launch new ideas. If you want to know what questions we asked, there is only one way to find out.

Drink #008: The Joker, Making Sense of Humor.
We are talking about comedy this month. We are not talking about the
Shakespearean comedy, the Divine Comedy, or the Studio 4C short film but comedy as it relates to anime. So often anime comedy strikes viewers as quite different than the comedy they are used to but why is the question. What about the aesthetic makes it so different from the comedy we know? What makes it so different from the comedy you see on Japanese dramas as well? We will also examine the different styles of humor you see in anime. Plus the most important question: Why do people think K-ON! is funny?
