What Blood Type Are You? by Sean Russell (Naruto) I find it interesting that 80% of the people I ask, don't know their blood type. I would say that this is a scary statistic if I didn't just find out my blood type at age 21. I found it out only after reading an article on blood type relations and Japanese characteristics. I was thrilled to find that I share the same blood type recognized with many leaders in Anime. If you are confused with what I'm talking about, let me put it into perspective. Blood Types in Japan are the equivalent American's astrological signs. "What sign are you?" Instead of that cheesy pickup line, you might hear, what's your blood type? Some series place an importance blood types like "Sailor Moon" and "Silent Morbious" which details the blood types of it's characters in the intro. Here are a few descriptions of blood types and their characteristics. Blood Type A Individuals with Type A Blood have a firm character. They are considered to be levelheaded, reliable and sometimes hard headed. They try to suppress their own emotions and can sometimes appear aloof or distant to others. They have a fragile, nervous side and tend to be prejudicial of people that don't share the same temperament. [examples: Ami (Amy); Mamoru (Darien), Setsuna (Sailor Pluto)] Blood Type B Type B individuals are interested in everything. They are sometimes consumed by their over abundance of interests and hobbies. Additionally, they are excited to pick up a task and then drop it quickly. They do understand which interests or loved ones are the most important. They are usually perceived as being bright and cheerful and full of enthusiasm. However, some people think that they are quite different on the inside. They also don't want to have real contact with others. [examples: Minako (Mina); Haruka (Sailor Uranus)] Blood Type AB Type AB individuals have two sides, one side they share with the people that are close to them and another side for those on the outside. They have a delicate sensitivity and are considerate of other people's feelings. They usually have a lot of friends but need time to be alone and think things through. [examples: Rei (Raye); Hotaru (Sailor Saturn)] Type O Type O blood types are usually leaders or warriors. They take the role of creating harmony among its group members. They are seen as taking it easy and being peaceful and carefree. There hearts are big and they are benevolent in nature. When it comes to spending, they are not stingy with their money. Generally loved by all, they are surprisingly stubborn and sometimes arrogant in their ways. They are also reluctant to try new things. They are extremely impressionable and easily swayed by what others do and what they see on television. [examples: Usagi (Serena); Chibi Usa (Rini); Makoto (Lita); Michiru (Sailor Neptune)]
