Woot for another ecchi flirty drama! This one happens to be about a boy who is an heir to the Hanabishi family, but has since left those ties. Kaoru grew up with his mother, who was hated by the main family who thought she was a wh***. His father would obviously not stand for that, but he died when Kaoru was young, and then his mother died shortly after. Kaoru has lash wounds on his back after saving a memento of his mother's from a fire when the family decided to burn all her things. So we hate the Hanabishi family.

Moving onward, the girl interest in this anime, at least the main one, is Aoi Sakuraba. She is the heir to the Sakuraba department store corporation. When they were younger, Aoi and Kaoru played together and were arranged to be married later in life. But since Kaoru left the Hanabishi family, the marriage arrangement was annulled. Aoi still wishes to marry him so she goes to find him.

She arrives at the subway station in full kimono dress, way out of place and her sandal strap breaks. Kaoru happens to run across her and fixes it for her. Ironically, the same thing happened to them when they were younger, very cute memory and all. They don't know who they are to each other yet, but Kaoru decides to help Aoi find who she's looking for. They go to the address she has but its an empty lot. Kaoru sees that the address is wrong and that its actually his address, so they find out then.

Aoi left her families house without permission so her, I guess caretaker/nanny shows up. Miyabi Kagurazaki is an intimidating woman who protects over Aoi with a vengeance. And of course she shows up at one of those awkward accidental times where it look like Kaoru and Aoi are into something.

Long story short, Kaoru and Aoi end up living together in one of the unused Sakuraba's homes. Miyabi is there as well as the Manager, and Aoi is the owner. So neither family really knows what's going on with these two at this point as it would cause lots of problems, so they're basically lying.

Anywho, Taeko Minazuki is another tenant who comes along and ends up serving as the house maid, who is a really bad one at that by the way. But she adds her own humor and love interests to the story. And also a trip to the beach to help with her oba-chan's (grandma) store. Where we meet another character.

Thus comes Chika Minazuki. A younger but very outgoing girl who eventually gets added to the household as well. She is Taeko's cousin and very forward with Kaoru much to the dislike of the other girls.

Tina Foster. I love her the best. She is an American girl who introduced Kaoru to the photo club he belongs to now. She has been world traveling and comes back to the university and also ends up living with Kaoru and Aoi. Its really hilarious the way she is portrayed as an American; she loves drinking, very flirtatious, blonde, uhm well blessed physically, loud, center of attention, and so on. She also has a thing for Kaoru.

The last girl interest is the 16 year old Mayu Miyuki who fell in love with Kaoru after he gave her a teddy bear when she was little. She comes to Kaoru's university although he's 20 and she's 16, she is very intelligent. She comes from England and considers herself very refined and proper. And as such argues with the Texan gal Tina quite a bit over Kaoru.

Over all, this anime has its extremely funny moments along with its heartfelt ones. I personally think this one ranks up there with Fruits Basket and Love Hina, two of my favorites. And once again, has a happy ending. So see for yourself how Kaoru deals with all these cute girls living together and college (I wish I were an anime boi, I wish I were an…) Later days anime dreamers.
